After having contributed to the development of the European Electronic music-scene as one half of the EBM-pioneers THE NEON JUDGEMENT, DIRK DA DAVO decided to launch his own project NEON ELECTRONICS. All the while Da Davo kept on fine-tuning his 'electro-groove' sound, which had become somewhat of a trademark. While negotiating with various European and American labels for the release of new material, Dirk launched his very own label and production company: DANCEDELIC D After having sold over half a million records, Dirk Da Davo definitely has a solid fan-base from his past and present days with The Neon Judgement, who, together with FRONT 242, were the undisputed forerunners of new beat - no, they're not sorry - and techno and 2 of Belgium's biggest musical exponents of the late 80s and the early 90s. Da Davo is set to continue his work with Neon Electronics, proving that the older he gets, the younger he sounds! Neon Electronics' latest charge on your ears and feet is the album 'MONKEY EVER AFTER', an international collaboration with artists like 'THE HACKER' (Track: Better Way) and Jamez DaBramski Dean.. (who has previously worked with Luc Van Acker) and FRANZ & SHAPE ( Track: Maximum Joy) Some songs pick you up by the neck and drag you along on a fast march to the dancefloor, while others are less frenzied. But the beat is always dangerous and steady.
