Tobi Neumann is born in Munich, Germany. He cultivates his musical talent with a classic education by taking piano and guitar lessons - he also plays in several bands and finally trains as sound engineer. While working as a freelance sound engineer for cinema and television productions he equips his own studio where he writes film and advertising music and produces several bands. In 1997, he kicks off his career as a Dj in Munich’s „Muffathalle“, one year later he follows up with his „Flokati“ nights in the legendary „Ultraschall“. Famous guest like Ata, Steve Bug, Chez Damier or Karotte spread the word in the international music scene, and soon Tobi begins to be in great demand. In the meantime, Tobi and his partners create the music and arts project Chicks on Speed („Eurotrash Girl“, „Kaltes Klares Wasser“). Thies Mynther becomes his partner in a studio cooperation called Glove. In 2002, Tobi joins the Cocoon booking agency and plays on a regular basis at national and international Cocoon events. He’s a resident in Berlin’s „Watergate“ and „Weekend“. Tobi’s discography reflects his manifold musical talent: it offers a considerable number of successful productions, including chart and dance hits, remixes, music for films and advertising, productions for other artists and an annual mix compilation.
