Juan Atkins is a pioneering American DJ and producer, widely regarded as the "Godfather of Techno." Emerging from Detroit in the early 1980s. He founded his own label, Metroplex Records in 1985 and co-founded the influential group Model 500 and helped establish the Detroit techno sound with groundbreaking tracks like "No UFOs" and "Clear." Atkins' innovative use of synthesizers and electronic beats laid the foundation for the genre, influencing countless artists worldwide.
